Şafak Gürboğa (İzmir, 1989) graduated from Dokuz Eylul University, Faculty of Painting. He’s currently studying his MA degree at the same university.

Gürboğa’s works gather round topics like identity, racism, violence and destructive aggression. Instead of searching for solutions within the cause effect relationship, he determines the situation in his works.

His solo shows; “veritas-gerçek”, K2 Rezidans, Izmir (2014) and Mars Istanbul, Istanbul (2015).
